Almave Blanco Review: Is This Non-Alcoholic Tequila Alternative Worth It?
Cutting back on alcohol without giving up margarita night led me to try Almave Blanco, a non-alcoholic spirit distilled from blue agave.

Taste Profile
Almave Blanco is made from blue agave plants grown in the highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco, by a team with over 20 years of tequila-making experience. On its own it has a fresh, fruity green vegetal aroma with a bright agave palate and a touch of minerality and spice.

In a Cocktail
Mixed into a blanco margarita, it genuinely captured that agave backbone I'd expect from real tequila, with a light body that didn't feel watered down. It's not a one-to-one replica of alcoholic tequila, but as a swap for sober-curious nights, it worked far better than I expected.
Pros: Real blue agave flavor, works in classic tequila cocktails, vegan.
Cons: At $126 for a case, it's a premium purchase.
