ChromeStoppers Tundra Rear BumperShellz Review: Covering Rust Before It Starts

Factory chrome bumpers on older Tundras have a bad habit of pitting and flaking after a few years, and mine was heading that direction fast. Rather than replace the whole bumper, I covered it with a ChromeStoppers rear overlay.

Fit and Finish

The overlay is designed specifically for the 2014-2021 Tundra rear bumper and lined up cleanly over the factory shape without needing any trimming. It comes in several finish options including matte black, gloss black, and a couple of factory-matched colors.

Installation

Installation used the factory mounting points and adhesive backing, and took me under an hour in the driveway with basic tools. No drilling was required, which I appreciated on a truck I still plan to sell someday.

Pros and Cons

Pros: clean factory-matched fit, multiple finish options, straightforward no-drill install.

Cons: if your truck has parking sensors you need the sensor-compatible version, so double check your trim before ordering.

Price

The site listed this at 3.864.336₫, which converts to roughly $149 USD. Worth confirming the live price in your local currency before checkout.
