Dr. Few Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 Review: An Everyday Sun Shield That Doubles as Makeup

Layering three products every morning before makeup gets old, so when I saw Dr. Few's Tinted Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 promised sun protection and light coverage in one step, I had to test it.

Texture and Tint

The formula is a mineral (zinc oxide based) sunscreen with a light tint that evens redness without looking like a heavy foundation. It sits on top of the skin as mineral sunscreens do, but blended in within a minute and did not leave the chalky cast some mineral formulas do on my skin tone.

All-Day Wear

By midday my skin still looked calm rather than shiny, and the SPF 30 mineral protection meant I did not feel like I needed to reapply as urgently as I do with lighter chemical sunscreens.

Pros and Cons

Pros: mineral SPF 30, light buildable tint, comfortable all-day wear, dermatologist-formulated.
Cons: $85 is a premium price point for a sunscreen, and very fair or very deep skin tones should sample the single tint shade first.

Final Verdict

This is now my go-to for lazy mornings when I want SPF and light coverage without a full routine. See it on Dr. Few Skincare here.
