Learning scales and chord shapes by ear and diagram alone is slow going, so I tried the Fret Zealot 2 LED strip to see if visual guidance would actually help.
The strip attaches along the fretboard and connects to the companion app, which lights up the correct notes and positions in real time as you follow along with lessons or songs.
Having the exact fret and string light up removed a lot of the guesswork I used to have with tab sheets, especially for scale runs. It comes in two scale-length options, so measure your guitar before ordering to get the correct fit.
Pros: genuinely helpful visual learning aid, real-time app sync, works well for both scales and songs.
Cons: this is the LED strip only, so you need a compatible base unit or existing Fret Zealot system already installed.
It is on sale for 3.333.000 VND, down from the regular 3.999.000 VND - roughly $128 USD converted from about $154. A solid tool if you learn better by seeing than by reading tab.
