Novelty graphic sweaters usually sacrifice comfort for the design. The Future Monsters Dracula Sweater tries to do both, so I wore it through a stretch of winter chill to see if the build quality actually matches the original artwork.
This is a 100% cotton knit with double-layer construction, which is noticeably heavier and warmer than a standard single-layer graphic sweatshirt. Ribbed cuffs and waistband keep the cold out at the openings, and the fabric has enough weight to work as a standalone layer rather than needing something underneath.
The cut runs true to size with roomy drop shoulders and sleeves — a relaxed, slightly oversized silhouette rather than a fitted crewneck. Worth noting: it's not pre-shrunk, so it will shrink slightly after the first cold wash, which the brand accounts for in the sizing.
The Dracula artwork is an original FM design rather than a licensed or stock print, printed on heavyweight cotton that holds detail well. Turning the sweater inside out before washing kept the print area from cracking or fading through several wash cycles.
