immi Variety Vol. 1 Ramen Review: Plant-Based, High-Protein Ramen That Doesn't Taste "Healthy"
Instant ramen has a reputation problem: tasty, but nutritionally empty. immi's Variety Vol. 1 pack set out to fix that, and after working through all three flavors, I get why it's become a cult favorite.
What's In The Pack
The variety pack includes three plant-based flavors: Spicy "Beef", Black Garlic "Chicken", and Tom Yum "Shrimp" - all fully plant-based despite the meaty flavor names, each delivering 28g of protein and 12g of fiber per serving.
Taste and Texture
The noodles hold up well - not mushy like a lot of instant ramen gets - and the broths are genuinely flavorful rather than tasting like a protein supplement in disguise. Tom Yum was my favorite for the tang, but Black Garlic "Chicken" was the most crowd-pleasing when I had friends try it.
Pros
Pros: 28g plant-based protein per serving, 12g fiber, genuinely good flavor for instant ramen, three distinct flavors in one pack, strong review base (4.6 stars from 4,647 reviews).
Cons
Cons: pricing scales with pack size ($6.50/meal for 6-pack down to $5.50/meal for 18-pack), so the best value requires committing to a larger order; still an instant noodle product, not a full meal replacement.
If you want a quick, high-protein meal that doesn't taste like diet food, immi's Variety Vol. 1 is worth trying.
