Luna Nectar Neptune Hyaluronic Acid Serum Review: The Ocean-Blue Glow Serum

Blue skincare always feels like a gimmick until it isn't. Luna Nectar's Neptune serum caught my eye because it's marketed as the first ocean-blue hyaluronic acid serum, with a "matte-blurred glass skin" claim I needed to test for myself.

The Formula

Neptune is built on 1% high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, paired with antioxidant botanicals like butterfly pea, green tea, and helichrysum. It's fragrance-free and dermatologist approved, which I appreciated since my skin flags any strong scent within minutes.

Texture and Results

The blue tint is real but sheer — it doesn't tint your skin, it just looks striking in the bottle. Applied under moisturizer, it noticeably plumped my under-eye area and cheeks within the first week. Worn alone, it does give that soft-focus, blurred finish the brand promises, especially under makeup.

Pros

Pros: Genuine hydration boost, blurring effect works well under makeup, fragrance-free, vegan and Leaping Bunny certified, layers well with other actives.

Cons

Cons: Priced at a premium for the size, blue tint may put off skeptics of "fun" skincare colors, best paired with a heavier moisturizer in dry climates.

At 1.126.000₫ (roughly $43 USD), it's a splurge but a genuinely different HA serum experience. Check out Luna Nectar's Neptune serum here.
