Polar Dive PRO Cold Plunge Chiller Review

Cold plunge tubs are everywhere in wellness content right now, but most require constant ice refills. The Polar Dive PRO is a chiller unit meant to maintain a set cold temperature automatically without buying bags of ice.

Setup

Setup involved connecting the chiller unit to my tub and filling it with water — no special plumbing needed. Within a few hours, the unit brought the water down to my target temperature and held it there.

Daily Use

I used it for cold plunge sessions several times a week, and the unit consistently maintained temperature without me needing to check on ice levels or manually adjust anything. The filtration also kept the water noticeably cleaner between sessions.

Pros

Pros: maintains consistent cold temperature automatically, no more buying ice, built-in filtration keeps water clean, straightforward setup.

Cons

Cons: at $1,049 (down from $1,750) it's a serious investment, and you'll need a compatible tub and space for the unit.
