Riderbag Reflector35 Backpack Review: Commuting Visible After Dark

Biking to work means at least a few rides in low light, and I got tired of drivers not seeing me until the last second. That is what pushed me to try the Riderbag Reflector35.

The Reflective Coating

The whole exterior is covered in a high-visibility reflective finish rather than just a strip or logo. Under headlights it lights up almost entirely, which is a noticeable step up from the small reflective patches most commuter bags use.

Everyday Use

Storage-wise it comfortably fits a laptop, a change of clothes, and a lock without feeling overstuffed. The straps stayed comfortable on longer rides, and it held up fine through a few rounds of rain.

Pros and Cons

Pros: excellent night visibility, solid daily storage capacity, comfortable straps.

Cons: the reflective finish shows scuffs more visibly than a plain fabric bag would.

Price

The Riderbag Reflector35 is priced at $89.95. For anyone biking or riding a scooter in low-light conditions, the added visibility alone makes it worth considering.
