Scott's Protein Balls Subscription Review: Real Food Snacking On Autopilot
I've tried enough protein snack subscriptions to be skeptical of the category, but Scott's Protein Balls 20-ball subscription plan won me over with a short, recognizable ingredient list and genuinely good flavors.
Flavor and Texture
The Snickerdoodle and Confetti Cake flavors both had a soft, dense bite without the chalky aftertaste a lot of protein snacks leave behind, and they didn't need refrigeration to stay firm.
Subscription Value
The 20-ball plan works out to a reasonable per-serving cost for a whole-food snack, and the variety pack option means you're not stuck eating the same flavor every day.
Pros
Pros: clean ingredient list, good texture and flavor variety, doesn't require refrigeration, flexible subscription tiers.
Cons
Cons: subscription commitment isn't for everyone, pricier per-ball than mass-market protein bars.
Plans start at $59.98 for 20 balls. See the subscription plans here.
