I have leaned on a beauty sponge for foundation for years, so I picked up Sigma's F80 Flat Kabuki Chrome Brush to see if a dense brush could actually give a more even finish.
The bristles are packed tightly enough to buff foundation into skin rather than just laying it on top, which pushed product evenly around my nose and jawline without streaking.
The brush used noticeably less product than my sponge routine while still delivering full coverage, and it left a more airbrushed, seamless finish around pores.
Pros: dense buffing bristles, less product wasted than a sponge, seamless airbrushed finish, priced at $50.
Cons: takes a bit longer to work in than a quick sponge dab, and needs regular cleaning to avoid product buildup.
