SSV Works Bronco Rear Speaker Pod Review: Real Bass Without a Full Audio Rebuild

Factory audio in the 4-door Bronco is fine for talk radio but falls flat once you actually want to feel the music. The SSV Works rear speaker pod upgrade was my fix.

Fit and Build

These pods are purpose-built for the 2021-2023 4-door Bronco and mount cleanly into the factory rear speaker locations without cutting or modifying the interior panels.

Sound Upgrade

Swapping in 6.5in speakers into these pods gave a noticeably fuller, more balanced sound compared to the stock setup, especially on bass-heavy tracks. Installation is straightforward if you are comfortable with basic interior panel removal.

Pros and Cons

Pros: purpose-built factory fitment, noticeable sound improvement, no interior cutting required.

Cons: speakers are sold separately, so factor that into your total upgrade budget.

Price

It is on sale for $329.00, down slightly from the regular $339.99. For Bronco owners who want real sound without a full audio system rebuild, this is a solid middle-ground upgrade.
