What started as a small project during uncertain times has turned into something we never could've imagined. Love Square One began with a simple mission... To create something beautiful, intentional, and comforting when the world felt anything but. We were melting wax in one tiny presto pot, labeling jars by hand, and testing scents late into the night. We didn't know where it would lead...only that it felt meaningful. And it still does. Two years into Love Square One's journey, something unexpected happened...we met. At the time, Joanna had just gotten into three local stores, pouring candles on the side while working full-time. Today, Love Square One is our full-time work and full-time purpose. We've grown from 3 stores to over 60 and counting, and we're just getting started. Our candles are rooted in storytelling, emotion, and care. From our clean-burning coconut soy wax to our eco-friendly wooden wicks, every detail is chosen with love. Orders are processed and shipped within 2–5 business days , and we’ll send you a tracking number once your package is on its way. Transit time is between 2-7 days. We currently ship throughout the United States, and offer free U.S. shipping on all orders over $75 or a flat rate of $4.95 for all orders under $75. Just leave your message at checkout. Upcycling your candle jars is a fantastic way to reduce waste and give new life to something that would otherwise be thrown away. Get creative and see how you can give new purpose to these beautiful containers! Don’t forget to tag us @lovesquareone . Pop out frozen wax with a spoon. Wipe clean or rinse with soap and water. Always trim your wooden wick to 1/8" before each burn (just snap off the charred tip with your fingers or wick trimmer). Let the wax melt all the way to the edges before blowing it out, this prevents tunneling. This usually means your wick needs a little trim. If the wick is too long or has a mushroomed tip, it can flicker or drown in the wax. Trim it down, relight, and let it do its thing. Our fragrances are clean blends — meaning they are carefully crafted to be safe and non-toxic, whether made from natural sources or lab-formulated. All of them are free from phthalates, parabens, carcinogens, and reproductive toxins. Our candles are made with premium ingredients, including vegan non-toxic coconut soy wax, clean blended essential oils, and eco-friendly wood wicks. Your candle can take 30-60 seconds to ignite on the first burn. Remember to let your candle melt all the way across on the first burn to prevent tunneling. You should trim your wicks to 1/16” before every burn. Keep your LSO candle away from drafts or fans, as this will cause a higher flame and may result in sooting. Make sure all debris is removed from solid wax before burning to ensure a clean burn. Wax Melt, Spray & Diffuser Questions Yes! Our wax melts are made from the same clean wax and fragrance blends as our candles, just wickless and flameless. It depends on the room size and how many spritzes you use. Most customers find the scent lingers for hours. A little goes a long way. Each diffuser lasts 2–3 months, depending on air flow and how often you flip the reeds. Twist off the decorative gold collar at the top of the rectangular glass diffuser jar. Gently remove the cork from the center (save this if you plan on saving or transporting your diffuser). Add the gold decorative collar back on the glass jar if desired. Each set comes with 8 reed sticks. The strength of the fragrance is up to you. Start with a couple of reeds and add more as needed, or use all 8 sticks for a stronger scent. Note that it can take 24 to 48 hours for the reed sticks to fully absorb the fragrance and start taking effect. If you spill, clean it up immediately and don’t rub it in to prevent damage. The oil can stain or ruin porous surfaces. Always wash your hands if you get any oil on them. Keep away from Children and Pets Ensure that the diffuser is placed out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidental spills or ingestion. We suggest rotating your reed sticks weekly to keep your fragrance fresh and prevent dust from settling on the ends of the sticks. Always wash your hands after flipping the reeds. Reasons to Flip Your LSO Diffuser Reed Sticks Even Scent Distribution: Flipping the reed sticks helps to distribute the fragrance evenly throughout the room. Maximize Longevity: Regular flipping prevents one side from becoming fully saturated, which prolongs the life of the diffuser. Refresh the Scent: Flipping exposes fresh portions of the sticks to the fragrance oil, refreshing the scent in the room. Prevent Stagnation: Flipping prevents the fragrance oil from becoming stagnant and less effective over time. Your diffuser will perform best in smaller spaces. Keep in mind that high ceilings can affect the strength of your LSO Diffuser. Use a wax warmer specifically designed for wax melts. Place one cube of wax in the top dish of the warmer, but do not overfill it. Ensure your wax warmer is set to a safe temperature suitable for melting wax. Avoid overheating as this can cause the wax to evaporate too quickly, diminishing the fragrance. Always place your wax warmer on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and never leave it unattended. Wax melt cubes typically provide fragrance for several hours. Replace them when the fragrance diminishes or the wax is no longer melting effectively. Once cooled and solidified, remove wax from the warmer dish by gently popping it out or freezing the dish to harden the wax for easier removal. LSO wax melt cubes are made from vegan, non-toxic coconut soy wax and clean blended essential oils. Repurpose leftover wax melts by mixing different scents or melting them down to create custom fragrance blends. Store wax melt cubes in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat sources. Keep them sealed in their original packaging or an airtight container to preserve their fragrance and quality.
