From a Factory Courtyard to Workshops Worldwide
Our journey began with Steve Yi, who grew up surrounded by the hum of a hard alloy factory. After years in aerospace and manufacturing across the U.S. and Europe, Steve realized how expensive and limited tool options placed heavy burdens on small woodworking shops and DIY makers.
Determined to change this, he teamed up with his longtime friend Terry Chow, a resilient entrepreneur and outdoor adventurer. Together, they founded SpeTool with one mission:
